3 Texas teens arrested in killing of Marine veteran working as rideshare driver

 HOUSTON, TX — Public outrage is boiling over after three teenagers were arrested and charged in connection with the cold-blooded murder of a decorated Marine veteran and aspiring EMT, Quoc "Jake" Nguyen, who was brutally shot and killed while simply working a late-night shift as an Uber driver.

This is not a mistake; this is an act of barbaric, unthinking violence. The arrests expose a terrifying truth: a valuable life was extinguished by juvenile criminals over a mere robbery.

Nguyen, 28, a man who honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and recently returned home to dedicate his life to saving others as an EMT, was found deceased on the side of a Harris County road on September 4th. Investigators confirmed the tragic scenario: the suspects allegedly used Nguyen's services, then shot him, stole his belongings, and brazenly drove off in his car.

The three boys taken into custody have only been identified by their appalling crimes:

• A 15-year-old boy is charged with Capital Murder.

• A 14-year-old boy is charged with Tampering with Evidence.

• A 13-year-old boy is charged with Tampering with Evidence.
