 CLEVELAND, OH — The public's demand for justice has been partially answered, though the raw horror of the crime still sears the collective memory: Bionca Ellis, 34, has been convicted on all nine counts, including Aggravated Murder, for the senseless and utterly brutal stabbing of three-year-old Julian Wood in a suburban grocery store parking lot.

The verdict, delivered after a week-long trial, confirms what millions already believed: Ellis is a monstrous killer who deliberately targeted a defenseless toddler in an act of staggering cruelty. The tragedy unfolded in June 2024 outside a Giant Eagle in North Olmsted, where Ellis, having reportedly stolen two knives from a nearby thrift store, laid in wait for her innocent victims.
